Radical Japan Co., Ltd. has officially confirmed the launch of the highly anticipated Radical Cup Japan, set to debut in 2027. Bringing the globally renowned one-make racing series to Japanese soil, the championship will feature the exciting Radical SR3 XXR and SR3 XX* in competitive wheel-to-wheel action. Currently spanning 14 countries globally, the Radical Cup format delivers uncompromising high-downforce racing, culminating in the prestigious World Finals. The inaugural Japanese season will begin in May before continuing with events in June, July, and September 2027, with each of the four rounds to feature a two-race format for a total of eight races across the season.** The tentative calendar sees the innovative sports prototypes set to do battle at some of the nation's premier circuits: Sportsland SUGO, Mobility Resort Motegi, Tsukuba Circuit, and Okayama International Circuit.
